In addition to acquainting students with NASA's super cool Hubble Space Telescope, this one-week poetry activity introduces free verse poetry, reviews the definition, identification, and creation of basic types of figurative language, and explores the power of utilizing images to inspire creative writing. This project is leveled for grades 6-12.
