This one-session lesson is perfect for a humanities lesson on poetry or a lesson on gratitude. It would also be awesome as an activity leading up to Thanksgiving! Students consider Robert Frost’s famous poem, review figurative language, and reflect on the people, places, and things in their lives for which they are grateful. The lesson can end with the creation of a poignant piece of collaborative art. This lesson is leveled for grades 6-12.
